Vision for the clinic

My goal for Multnomah Family Care Center is that this becomes a place where you feel at home.  I hope to offer quality care with more efficient and effective visits.  As I get to know you, I hope that your care will be optimized. To that end, I use a lot of technology to record your information and communicate.  This allows for more accurate information but also allows for you to take advantage of e-visits, online medication refill requests, filling out information ahead of time online or in the waiting area to help make the most of the time in the office with me.  Because half of my work is paperwork, I strive to minimize the interference that this will have in our visit.  I hope to have technology increase efficiency and accuracy and not come between you and me.  To that end, I will discuss your concerns in my private office face-to-face and then examine you in the exam room without a computer to allow my full attention to be on the medical exam.

We are building a truly integrative clinic in order to more fully care for you and your family.  Our staff is currently comprised of a naturopath, Dr. Sara Love and a chiropractor, Dr.  Jeffrey Felker.  We will also be incorporating a part-time nutrition and exercise counselor as well as a counselor.  It is our goal to offer full service medicine and to work as a team to care for patients.

We have a massage therapy team in the same building through AiZen Massage.  Each therapist has been trained in injury rehabilitation and/or relaxation techniques.  This company’s mission mirrors my own and I am thrilled to share space with them.

We also have an excellent acupuncturist, Roberto Masferrer with Kumo Acupuncture.  His warmth and kindness rank only second to his skill as a practitioner.  He has helped patients in our clinic with pain, allergy, migraine, gut issues, stress and many other issues.  He is also contracted with many insurances to allow you to use your existing insurance benefits or has very reasonable cash rates for those without those benefits.

I have many vitamins, supplements and prescription medications available to reduce the need to go to many stores to find the tools for your health.

We are working on developing monthly health talks, exercise meet up groups, group meetings for those living with chronic illnesses such as Diabetes and community outreach.  I hope that you will come and help me build a practice that fits you – my neighbor.
